HomeCleany Service Terms
At HomeCleany, we take pride in our work and are dedicated to providing top-quality cleaning services to our valued customers. We are happy to assist with a wide range of cleaning tasks. However, in order to maintain the highest standards of quality and safety, we have established the following guidelines and limitations:
1. Right to Cancel Services
We reserve the right to cancel any service, for any reason. We have a zero-tolerance policy for racism, sexism, or disrespect towards our staff. Any such behavior will result in the immediate and permanent termination of our services.
2. Staff Health and Safety
The well-being of our staff is of utmost importance to us. Our staff members are not permitted to:
- Climb heights beyond what can be reached with a three-step ladder.
- Move or lift heavy furniture without assistance.
- Clean biohazard substances, including animal or human waste.
- Clean areas infested with insects.
- Clean areas with mold.
- Perform any task that may jeopardize their health or safety.
3. Liability for Pets
While we are attentive to your pets during our service, we do not assume liability for their health and safety. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety and well-being of your pets during our visit.
4. Damage Liability
We carry insurance for any damage or breakage caused by our maids. However, we are not liable for damage due to "normal wear and tear," improper item installation, or damage to artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms valued over $200 that were not disclosed during the appointment booking.
5. Special Item Considerations
Certain items such as carpet and rug snags, broken blinds, and improperly hung decorations are subject to inherent risks during cleaning. Artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms valued over $200 are not covered under our cleaning services, and it is your responsibility to inform us of such items in writing.
6. Furniture and Woodwork
If your furniture or woodwork requires special care or if you wish to provide your own cleaning products, please communicate your needs to us during the booking process.
7. Utility Requirements
We require access to electricity and water during our cleaning services. If your utilities are turned off, we will gladly reschedule your appointment.
8. Extreme Cleaning Conditions
In cases of homes in poor condition, such as those with broken glass, excessive clutter, or hoarding, we may be able to bring the space to a livable standard. However, the end result may not meet our standard of cleanliness for a typical home. We will discuss this issue with you before starting the job and may use before-and-after photos for internal purposes and on our social media, ensuring no identifiable information is disclosed.
9. Cancellation and Rescheduling
Last-minute cancellations or rescheduling can disrupt our scheduling and incur losses. Therefore, we have a 48-hour notice requirement and a $100 cancellation/rescheduling fee. Exceptions may apply under certain circumstances.
10. Staff Solicitation
You agree not to solicit for hire any staff member introduced to you by HomeCleany for home-related services. If you choose to employ our staff directly, please discuss this matter with our owner, Elena. A referral/training fee of $5,000 per hired employee applies to any violation of this agreement.
11. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless HomeCleany, its subsidiaries, agents, licensors, managers, and other affiliated companies, as well as their employees, owners, contractors, agents, officers, and directors, from any claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses, including attorney’s fees, arising from our cleaning services or any damages to your property during our service.
12. Warranty and Disclaimer
HomeCleany does not provide warranties for our cleaning services. We offer our services "as is" and "as available." Your use of our service is at your own risk. We do not guarantee accuracy, reliability, or suitability for your specific needs. We do not warrant that our service will be available, uninterrupted, or secure.
By retaining HomeCleany's services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions. We appreciate your trust in our cleaning services and look forward to serving you.
